Defines whether alarm 2 may be acknowledged.
D ENABLED Allows the alarm to be acknowledged
• DISABLED Prevents the alarm from being acknowledged
while in alarm condition
19. POWER UP:2
Defines how alarm 2 will be treated on power up.
D NORMAL Alarm depends on process variable
• ALARM Always power up in alarm regardless of
process variable
• DELAYED Must leave alarm condition and reenter before
activating the alarm
20. MESSAGE:2
A 9-character message associated with alarm 2. To enter message: The first
character of third display will be flashing. Press the

▼▼

▼ keys to scroll
through the character set. Press FAST key to advance to subsequent
characters. Press MENU to advance to next parameter.

21. FAULT
Defines whether either of the alarm relays will trip if a fault condition (lost
process variable) is detected. Only appears if at least one alarm relay is
installed.

Defines whether a rate-of-change alarm is interpreted as a lost or broken
process variable (causing a trip to manual output).
